Winter animals...

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:

Toddler/Preschool: We will start our day with our welcome song..We will write and spell out our names.We will continue talking about winter animals, Today we will be talking about the polar bear and how they stay nice and warm in the winter time.

Skills: Cognitive, motor development, approaches to learning:

-Preschools: Write down and spell out name

-Toddlers: Spell out name.. Name recognition. 

-Toddlers/preschoolers: Number of the week: 1

-Preschool: Letter train: C, c

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

-Letter sound day..

Creativity and the Arts: (Science)

-Polar bear plunge

Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other Free activities: (Preschool/toddler)

-Polar bear, polar bear sleeping in your cave..
