This is our last week before I go on vacation for a few days. The next few months we will be having our summer program, my lesson plan maybe a little different then usual, but I will still hit our daily domains that are required for early childhood development. Thank you!

roup Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:

This week our summer program has started, today is water day and will go over some fun summer stuff! What we are looking forward to and what we want to do..

Skills: Cognitive, motor development, approaches to learning:

-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.

Toddlers: Potty training

-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: S, s

-Word of the week: Summer

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other Free activities: (Preschool/toddler)

Friday: Bike day... Please bring a bike/trike/scooter, whatever your child loves to ride around, bring it to daycare and we will go on a short walk with them or play with them in the backyard. Also please bring a bike helmet for your child, I do promote bike safety with all my children. I do have extra bike helmets but not enough for everyone.

Please note: That I will be requiring tennis shoes for normal outdoor play. The only days I will allow sandals or flip flops is water day.
