Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:

Toddler: We will sing "Who came to daycare today...." We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? We will go over our shapes and colors. This week we are talking about gardening, we will see who loves to play in dirt!!!

Preschool: We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? This week we are discussing gardening!! We will talk about our process on what we need to do to get ready. We will also take a look at our butterflies we just got.

-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.

-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: J, j

-Word of the week: Garden

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

Today we will skip art, since it's our first day of gardening. Weather permitting..

Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other Free activities: (Preschool/toddler)

We will start our gardening process.. We will be working in the back yard and getting dirt ready. We will be helping me dig in the dirt.
