Bunny week...

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:

Toddler: We will sing "Who came to daycare today...." We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? We will go over our shapes and colors. This week we will discuss Bunnies! We will talk about their fur, their ears, nose and more. We will explore what a bunny looks like.

Preschool: We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? This week, we will be talking about bunnies this week. I will ask the children if their is a difference between a bunny and a rabbit? We will talk about fun facts or even what we typically do on Easter day!

Skills: Cognitive, motor development, approaches to learning:

-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.

-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: B, b and R, r

-Word of the week: Bunny/ Rabbit

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

Art: Easter Cards for our families..

Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other Free activities: (Preschool/toddler)
