Dr. Seuss week..

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well.

Fox in Socks: Wear mismatch socks..

Toddler: We will sing "Where is _(Friend's name)_...." We will go over our shape and colors. How we feel today? Today is mismatch sock day. We will take the time to look at our feet to see how zany our feet look. We will either read "Fox in socks" or "The foot book". 

Preschool: We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? Today is mismatch sock day. We will take the time to look at our feet to see how zany our feet look. We will either read "Fox in socks" or "The foot book". 

Skills:
-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.

-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: S, s (Main focus)

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

-Math day/counting

Art: Preschool: I will have our friends trace and cut out sock shapes after wards they'll decorate them with markers or crayons. Toddlers: Will each get pre-cut sock shapes they'll decorate them with markers or crayons.

Large motor: Freeze dance..
