Winter/snow week...

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well.

Toddler: We will sing "Where is __(Friend's name)___, where is __(repeat name)_____, please stand up, please stand up, do a little wave, do a little dance, please sit down, please sit down." We will go over our shapes and colors. We will read our book "The hat".

Preschool: We will sing "Where is __(Friend's name)___, where is __(repeat name)_____, please stand up, please stand up, do a little wave, do a little dance, please sit down, please sit down." We will also go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? Today we will see how tall we are with mittens. Then we will write it down on a large mitten to hang in our classroom.
