Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well.

Toddler: We will sing "Who came to daycare.....". We will sing "Five little pumpkins". And read our book of the day.

Preschool: We will go over our help wanted, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? We will continue talking about Halloween. Today I will let each friend choose a pumpkin in our home living area, we will talk about it size, shape, and if we think it could float or sink in water?

Science: We will cut open a pumpkin and explore inside it! Pumpkin guts!!! We will also sort and pull out the pumpkins and bake them and eat some for snack!

For our creative part today, instead of carving a picture in the pumpkin we'll use a blow dryer to melt crayons on it. See all the fun colors mix together!
