Since this week the state fair is starting up, I figure the children would get a kick out of talking about the fair and what they have done there. Along the way we will learn about different waysthey do stuff at the fair.

Group Time: We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and our new letter of the week "R". We will make a list of "R" words. I will ask the children, what they know about the state fair and have they ever been there?
